“From Hong Kong with love…”
This image is part of what will eventually become a series of people enjoying themselves in Hong Kong and doing their, “From Hong Kong with love…” thing.
Somewhere out there, can almost hear the strains of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” piece. Not sure what these good folk do with all their “selfies”? Probably posted to some form of social media or other? But, I can almost image the tag reading, “From HK with love…”. Or, “With love from HK – wish you were here…”. Or, some variation thereof and whatever.
Anyway, this is not part of my remit – as in what these folks are thinking or doing with their images.
Regarding this particular image – and, making no excuses here – I was just playing around with the image prep tools I have at hand. This and other images in this series are “rough” edits of their original digital files. In prepping these images, we did a quick conversion using the latest version of Adobe’s Camera RAW. Thereafter, we used NikSoftware’s Color Efex Pro in Photoshop CS6 to “pull” up the effects in this image.
I’m still trying to find a “feel” to give some expression to these images. May come up with something that will eventually suit. So, let’s see.
Enjoy, more to follow…
TECHNICAL NOTES: This image was taken using a Fujifilm X-T1 digital capture device coupled with a Fujinon Super EBC XF 18-55 f/2.8-4 R LM OIS lens.
